Refund Policy

A refund policy is your safety net when online shopping doesn't go as planned. It spells out exactly under what circumstances you'll get your money back, and how the process works. You'll typically find details on the timeframe for returning unwanted items, often ranging from 14 to 30 days after purchase. The policy will also clarify what condition the items need to be in for a refund, such as unworn with original tags attached. It might also cover situations where you receive a damaged or incorrect item, and how the return process differs in those cases. Korenation Studio’s may even offer exceptions to the normal return window for special circumstances. By understanding the refund policy, you can shop with confidence, knowing you're protected if something needs to be sent back.

 

Returned items must be in original packaging and sent with return packing slip located inside the package upon delivery, including any accessories, manuals, and documentation.

 

Returned items must be unused, in the same condition that we sent them to you, and in their original packaging. Stains, folded cards, broken seals/ plastic foiling broken will not be accepted. If the condition of the product shipped back to us is not in acceptable condition, we reserve the right to not refund or exchange. Products that have been personalized cannot be refunded or exchanged unless authorized.

 

Non-returnable items include items:  purchased incorrect products, purchased and damaged products through customer mishandling, paper products, and under clothing including swimwear bottoms.

 

Returns made without a receipt may be refused. Korenation Studio’s reserves the right to deny any return.

When you return an item, your refund amount and refund method may vary. Check the payment method refunded and the status of your refund in “Your Orders”.

 

WHAT IF THE ITEM(S) I RECEIVED ARE DEFECTIVE/INCORRECT/DAMAGED?

Did you receive a faulty unit or the wrong product? Are you simply not satisfied with your order?

Please contact our Customer Support team to start the return process. Please include the following information:

Order number.

Proof of purchase

Video or photo of the faulty product (if applicable)

Complete delivery address

Contact telephone number.

In some cases, you may be required to include a video or photo of the defective product for proof to refund or replace the product.

 

Advanced Refunds/Replacements/Exchanges

Sometimes, we issue a refund or ship a replacement/exchange to you prior to receiving the return item.

Advanced Refund

In some approved cases, as soon as the item is dropped off by you or received by the carrier, a refund will be issued, in advance of receipt and processing of the item at our facilities, to your credit card or as a Korenation Studio’s eGift Card balance.

Advanced Replacement/Exchange

If you see an option in the Online Return Center to initiate a replacement/exchange of your original item, contact Korenation Studios first before beginning the following instructions to return the item and request a replacement/exchange. If the replacement/exchange order is immediately shipped to you, you'll need to return your original item(s) by the "Return by" date referred to in your return request confirmation email or you will be charged for the replacement/exchange.

Possible charges after advanced refunds/replacements/exchanges

After you return item(s), it may take some time for the item(s) to be transported to Korenation Studio’s distribution center. Once the item(s) are received, the item(s) will be verified and inspected against the expected product(s) and quantity in your return request. If Korenation Studio’s Distribution Center does not receive the expected product(s) and quantity as submitted by you in your return request, or if the item(s) are not in original condition or missing parts/accessories/manuals, you will be charged for the previously refunded amount (or for the previously shipped replacement/exchange order). If the charge is unsuccessful, you will be prompted to complete payment before initiating another return request.

To avoid being charged, take the following actions:

  • Only initiate return requests for items in their original condition

  • If applicable, apply the correct mailing label that came inside the box with the item.

  • Drop off or pick up each item you're returning at an eligible location.

If after completing a drop off or pick up you receive an email from us asking you to return an item or items or indicating you have been charged for the item(s), the charge will be reversed after Korenation Studio’s receives and processes the item(s) and verifies the expected product(s) in your return request.

Refund Times

Once we issue your refund, it takes additional time for your financial institution to make funds available in your account. Typically, up to 10 days.

Shop with Reward Points:                  Up to five business days

Pre-paid credit card:                           Up to 30 days (depending on the issuer of the card)

Note: If you no longer have the physical pre-paid credit card, we will still store the card within your account if you choose that option. You can use the card toward future purchases. For orders that use the Korenation Currency Converter, we issue the refund in your local currency using the same rate as the original order.

Gift Returns

The type of refund or credit a gift recipient receives depends on how the giver purchased the gift and how the recipient returns the gift. For more information, go to Return a Gift.

Korenation Studio’s may determine that a gift recipient is eligible for a refund without requiring a return. If a gift return is eligible for a refund without returning the item, the gift recipient receives a notification in the Returns Center or via Customer Service. Partial Refunds

Please note that refunds will be reduced for returned items, such as for signs of customer use or damage, or missing parts, accessories, or manuals.

Item Refund

Items in original condition past the return window: *80% of the item price

Opened CDs, DVDs (taken out of its plastic wrap): 50% of the item price

Items with damage, missing parts, not in original condition, or that have obvious signs of use for reasons not due to an Amazon.com or seller error: Up to 50% of the item price

Open software or video games for reasons not due to a Korenation Studio’s error: 0% of the item price

Open Collectible Cards, Board Games, Tabletop Games, Toy figurines (Ex: Funko Pops, Poker Cards, Tarot Cards, etc.): 0% of the item price

*For most items, the return window is 30 days after delivery. To check the return window for an item you've ordered, go to Your Orders and select Return or Replace Items.

Note: For customers in CT, MD, NV, PA, VA, WV, and WI, tax on restocking fees may apply to return items shipped and sold by Korenation Studio’s. Some products have additional conditions that may apply. For more information, go to About Our Returns Policies.

HOW LONG IS THE RETURNS PROCESS?

Processing returns may take up to 14 business days from the day we receive your return. We will email you to confirm once your return has been processed.

 

For returned items, a full refund will be credited for defective products. For non-defective items, a refund excludes all shipping and handling fees.

 

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY REFUND?

 

All refunds will be credited to your original form of payment. If you pay by credit or with debit card, refunds will be sent to the card-issuing bank within 14 business days of receipt of the returned item or cancellation request. Please contact the card-issuing bank with questions about when the credit will be posted to your account. If you haven't received a credit for your return yet, here's what to do:

Contact the bank/credit card company. It may take some time before the refund is posted to your account.

 

HOW DO I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY ORDER?

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to modify or cancel your order. Make sure to provide your order number and the modification you would like to make, and we’ll confirm once the modification has been made.

 

Any cancellation made after an order has been placed will be subject to a cancellation fee of 30% of the Total Price regardless of the time the order has been placed (even if it is just a second later) as the merchant processor/credit card charges us a fee for cancellations.

 

Please note that any orders that have already been packed or shipped cannot be canceled until received.

Disclosure: Korenation Studio's reserves the right to update and change policy as needed with no notice to customers. Stay updated by periodically reading policies.  For major changes we will notify customers with 30 day notice.
